About me and my practice
My aim is to offer a safe, supportive, encouraging and confidential space to be yourself and work through what you wish to focus on.
This may be feelings of anxiety, depression or low mood, relationship difficulties, loss, acceptance, guilt, low self-worth or a general feeling of being stuck and not quite sure why.
Whatever your concern or issue, through sharing yourself, your worries, your fears and your feelings, we can begin to explore what exactly is happening, why this is happening and how you might be able to move forward.
I am committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcome people from all cultures, religions, ethnicities, sexualities and neurodivergence.
Experience
I have worked with an extensive list of client groups and issues, including depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma, neurodivergence, loss and relationship issues.
No matter what your concern or issue, I believe the most important ingredient in our work together is the relationship that we build. Being heard without judgement and with warmth and empathy, can help clients to reconnect, heal and grow.
I have a particular interest and extensive experience working with 16-25 year olds.
I currently work in private practice with clients both online and face-to-face.

Additional Information
Therapy should be accessible and flexible, and working online ensures both of these things. I provide sessions for both short and long term therapy, online for clients throughout the UK.

Initial Consultation
I believe that warmth, compassion and kindness are the foundation of a counselling relationship, and finding the right counsellor for you is essential. With this in mind, I offer an initial consultation via phone or Zoom, so that you can get a sense of who I am, how I work and whether I might be a good fit for you. It is an opportunity for me to answer any questions you may have about the process. I do not charge for this one-off meeting and I encourage you to shop around until you find a therapist you are comfortable with.
Fees
£48- £60 per session. I offer concessions for students and OAPs.
Individual sessions are 50 minutes.
